2/17 -- The State of Ohio released today the first-of-its-kind collection of 50 reports -one per state- called "County Health Rankings". The rankings provide a general overview of community health issues. They demonstrate that health happens where we live, learn, work, and play, and much of what influences how healthy we are and how long we live happens outside of the doctor's office.

2/16 -- As of December 14th, all Ohioans can receive the H1N1 vaccine. Lorain City Health Department will host H1N1 vaccine walk-in clinics on Fridays beginning February 26th. No appointment is necessary. The clinics will run from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 4pm through the end of March. Please click on this link for additional dates and locations where you and your family can receive the H1N1 flu vaccine for FREE. All posted clinics are for the H1N1 flu vaccine only unless otherwise noted.
