Immunization of Children
Clinics:

Walk-in basis on the 1st and 3rd Thursday
of each month from 1-4 PM at the Lorain City Health Department.

Child Health Clinic provides
preventative health care for infants and children up to 19 years of age.
Services include physical examinations, immunizations, evaluation of growth,
development, nutrition, vision, hearing and emotional health, health education,
counseling and referral to other Health Department services or community
resources. Services are available by appointment. Payment is
based on a sliding scale fee according to
income. However, no one is denied services due to an inability to
pay. Services are available at multiple sites including school-based
locations for convenience and accessibility. By appointment call

Counseling Clinic:
Confidential and Affordable By Appointment
Behaviors that Increase Risk
- Sharing needles and/or drug paraphernalia including filters, water, spoons or straws.
- Sharing needles/inks for tattooing and body piercing.
- If male, having sex with other men.
- Exchanging sex for money or drugs.
- Having unprotected sex with multiple partners whose HIV status is unknown.
- Having sex, whether you are male or female, with someone who has done any of the above.
